Stephen George & Partners present at Industrial Design Seminar Bucharest

Following an invitation from UKTi and as guests of Robin Barnett, the British Ambassador to Romania, Stephen George & Partners, together with Leicester based businesses Atkinson Design Associates and Un.titled, made a series of presentations to 40 Romanian-based construction industry representatives, clients and consultants. Discussing issues relating to our core business of Masterplanning, Distribution and Workplace, Russell Vernum and James Nicholls presented the potential opportunities and experience of the practice in sustainable and industrial design. It was also an opportunity to launch Design Leicestershire (www.designleicestershire.com), a project four years in the making. A series of business meetings and networking events followed.

The three day visit was concluded with the Queen’s Birthday Party at the Athenaeum in Bucharest hosted by Robin Barnett and the Romanian Prime Minister, Emil Boc.
