What is the Role
An opportunity has arisen in our Leeds office. The role is for an Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician to work on existing and new projects across multiple sectors.
What the Role Entails
- Job running and potentially leading on several projects at varying stages of development and construction.
- Liaising with clients as they develop projects through the feasibility stage.
- Working up and submitting planning applications.
- A good technical knowledge of building regulations to answer queries from site and produce details.
- Understand the production information requirements for the Design & Build procurement process
- Visiting site for Design Team Meetings, snagging, client/contractor meetings
Skills & Experience
- Led on projects in the commercial sector and be used to the fast-paced approach to construction in this sector.
- A track record of being accountable and meeting deadlines
- Worked as a part of a team.
- An assertive nature and willingness to help others.
- A good understanding of construction and technical detailing in order to produce clear and well-structured drawings.
- Used Revit and have a good competent understanding of the package and have delivered building from it previously.
