A £32 million, state-of-the-art research and training hub in Dudley focused on developing rail technologies, including light and heavy rail, and offering engineering and test facilities.
Designed by SGP, the 59,747 sqft multi-level centre is part of a wider regeneration project, providing meeting spaces, rail development areas, and a 2.2km test track.
Includes a rail test site, engineering labs, event spaces, and serviced offices. The centre supports rail innovation, workforce development, and supply chain empowerment.
The Innovation Centre achieved BREEAM Excellent, located near Dudley Castle, with access to the new Castle Hill Metro tram stop.
