Final two phases of Indurent Park in Staffordshire reaches completion

Stephen George + Partners (SGP) is celebrating the completion of the final two phases of the popular Indurent Park Burton, which has delivered five warehouses, totalling 389,000 sqft, with ancillary offices, associated car parking, servicing, drainage and earthworks.

SGP designed the five units ranging from 38,000 sqft to 173,000 sqft to accommodate a diverse range of occupiers.

SGP’s design for the units follows Indurent’s Standard Design Code, fitting the new units seamlessly within the overall development. The warehouses include elements of ribbed, flat and profiled cladding in recessive and neutral colours which are laid both horizontally and vertically to add texture. The main offices are expressed with a change of cladding type mass and colour as well as aluminium framed glazing.

The Principal Contractor for the scheme was Winvic Construction.

The first design code was introduced in 2019 and our design was based on the architectural language established in previous phases. It has changed and adapted as the client updated their design code, leading to our successful submissions for non-material amendments where necessary.

The changes incorporated all design parameters across the buildings, ensuring consistency with both the client requirements and current trends, delivering a quality development which has attracted a range of significant businesses.”

These units achieve BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating, with photovoltaic panels, water recycling, EV charging and other specifications to support user well-being and net carbon reduction. The high quality continues internally with feature staircases in a full-height reception, a timber feature wall and LED feature lighting to provide a focal point.”

Indurent Park Burton is a popular development on approximately 50 acres totalling 1 million sqft, close by the A38 in east Staffordshire, whose existing occupiers include Hellmann Logistics, Keylite, Supply Technologies, London City Bond and Gousto.
