Alan Soper

Alan is involved in the management of the Leeds office, with Director leadership, Design and project delivery, with input into resourcing whilst supporting and mentoring staff and managing the Interiors, Industrial and Education teams. He prepares strategies and is actively involved in growing SGP Leeds, through Business Development and attending networking and sector events, with cross practice and office co-ordination.

Having contributed to the architectural profession across a vast variety of building types, as well as undertaking masterplans of urban centres, business and retail parks, throughout the UK, Europe and China, Alan remains passionate about good design, creating inspirational architecture, spaces and places for people to use, enjoy and be uplifted by. He continues to help raise Design quality across SGP through mentoring and project delivery.

He is a keen traveller and enjoys walking, sketching, swimming and scuba diving.
